Quick Coral ID

Hello Everyone.. My cousin is moving and is shutting down his tank.. He has a coral but not sure what its name is. I would like to get it from him but not sure what it is.. Want to make sure I can keep it and wont mess with my other corals...
It looks like a fuzzy mushroom but not sure... Its not on a rock it on top of a piece of coral or stock...

Green carpet anemone, Stichodactyla gigantea. Please do some research on this animal and decide from there if you want to keep it or not.

Hello Spanko... Thanks for the response... I honestly dont think its a anemone... I has like 3 centers and has no foot on the bottom... It has a boney stock on the bottom.. I will try to take more picks today when i go over in a few minutes.

Ok. I got a better picture. The lights came one recently so its not too opened. You cane see the underneath part better... The bottom is hard not soft like a anemone...

+1. Looks just like my purple lobophyllia. It is an LPS and fairly easy to care for. If you drop a piece of krill on it and keep the fish away. It will close up and eat along with the usual lighting requirements for a LPS. It looks very healthy.

Did a search for a lobophyllia and got about 200 diffrents species and type.... Didnt see any that really look like mine... But will continue to try to do some more research... I am going to take the piece home since he needs to shut down his tank while he moves... he said he would give it a small piece of shrimp or scallop every other week... Should I keep that same feeding???
Hey XCALI1985 u can post a picture of your so i can compare???

At work right now, won't be able to until tomorrow night at the earliest. They won't look completely like each other. However, I can say with 90% confidence that, that is what it is. The base is what makes me so certain. Anemones don't build a base.

*** I took it home and I am dripping now at a fast pace. I know some people dont drip croals but since I am doing a water change it works out well with acclamation...
I am thinking a will do the shrimp and scallops every 2 weeks like he was.
