Hi have a 38 gallon cube that has live rock all the way to the top of it. I have all the requirements for a reef tank but lighting. I'm only going to keep a few corals (Polyps, schrooms, cabbage, toadstool, and zoos). My LFS has a 110 watt PC light on sale at $60 and I wanna get it. Can I keep all these corals under this amount of light if I keep the corals mid level or higher in the tank? (The tank is 22 inches tall) That's just under 3 watts per gallon. I think that's enough but I'm just checkin before I buy it. Any suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks-Greg

The low light corals mentioned will survive in your tank at the mid point and above, but would do much better with more light...

Hm...I could throw another 18 watt N.O. output on there. Any additives or foods I could add to keep the fish healthier? Thanks-Greg

110 watts of 10k (white bulbs) and the 18watt NO as actinic 03 would be a good combo...
What do you mean by "keep the fish healthier"...??

Ok...one what about this combo: 1 x 10,000k Daylight Bulb,_1 x 10,000 Actinic Blue Bulb? If I do that what should I put in the N.O. light? Those are the bulbs that come with the light...Ill probably change them when they get old but I'd like to use those one since they're free. Sorry I might to keep the corals healthier...to make up for the lack of light with additives and foods. Thanks-Greg

Ok sounds like the light should work. Are you keeping your corals at the middle, top, or bottom of your tank? Im no expert but I think if you're keeping them at the bottom thats why they aren't growing very fast
Thanks-Greg
