quick ick inquiry

the ick parasite lives under the surface of the fish correct?
does it move (an individual speck)
how fast can it move?
i have a powder brown in QT (been 6 days) i thought i saw a single speck on each side of him. but 3 hrs later nothing, they were both gone.
i did a search and the term "ick" is too common and the manual way of searching is for the birds!

Go to the 'Disease Forum' part of swf.com message board. One of the first listings is an archived file by Beth giving explanation/pictures of Ich. It should answers these and other questions. If anything is unclear then post a question in that section.
