quick id help

i was just looking at the tank and noticed hundreds of tiny black "bugs" swarming around the sand bed. could they be shrimp babies? i hope it's nothing bad????

Great picture. Looks like some type of crab larvae to me. Are they still there today?

I have these in mine as well, couldn't get a good pic. They curl up into little balls and then straighten out to swim. I just thought they were some kind of pods.?.?

no i don't see them this morning. i have 1 decorator crab, that was in the same area last night. could have been from him?

we have lots of hermits but only 1 decorator crab, so i didnt think it was him, but maybe the hermits. my wife doesnt think a hermit could hold that many eggs with how small they are, but we have a few good sized ones. also the decorator crab has been in our system for close to 4 months, without another in there with him. so unless they can hold eggs for that long before letting them go im sure its not him. but im not sure. anyone know which one could have let them go? thanks.
