quick math question

Wax32, Im a guy down in sw fl. I feed my goniopora cyclopeze and I know your gonna think Im crazy but I buy fresh shrimp,scallop and clams and blend it with water from the tank in the blender and spot feed 3 times a week. Yo im a blue collar electrician and Ill try anything. Been lucky so far.

hey WAX32, I love MY "dirty" tank! I agree 100% I think goniopora love dirty tanks. I just have to say anyone who says they have 0 nitrates have minimal fish or are just kidding themselves. Im sorry if you hava huge tank its a little easier to keep trates down. Quick story, aguy from work who ive known for 5 years but never knew he had a tank claimed he had 0 trates had me test his tank and he was at 50 ppm. Tested 3 times(salifert)and he couldnt believe it.

acutally.. that was a bad example... those will displace the same abount of water....

Coralife power compacts work well. I have 361 watts (extra 96 smart) with the 265 set up. It is also under a hood with fans on both ends for cooling, I have to top off alot but its worth it. Temperature with the fans is not a problem. Just about blinded my wife when I lifted it the other day. Have plenty of light to keep many corals. Just make sure you change your bulbs instead of waiting till they burn out as they will lose their punch!

a 32 cubic units box would still displace more water than a 8 cubic units cube no matter what the mass.
