Quick question about heaters

Hi,
I have been considering putting a second heater in my sump to give me some peace of mind when we go out of town this winter. That's OK to do right? The two heaters will just work together to keep the water at the correct temp without overheating?
Thanks!

Your are correct..the heaters will heat to a certain temp and stop.
I use two heaters in the tank itself, one on each side, that way if one stops working the other is a backup. I am sure the sump will work the same way.
