hey guys, tank is cycled and planning to add inverts first. i am looking at a package here {EDIT LINK} it comes with like 40 crabs and 20 snails !! thats the smallest package.. is that too much to add at one shot in new aquarium?? how much of bioload do they count as? or should i build up and start with just few hermits and few snails?? or is it ok to get one of those package?? thanks a lot.
{Edit - out of respect to the owner and operator of SWF, please do not post links to other stores, thanks!

Depends on your tank size. BTW you cant post links from other sites on this forum. This thread will get deleted. I would get more snails then crabs IMO.

Hi there,
Surprise the mods have not seen this link. Personally I think that is too muchg for the size tank. Remeber that this critter have to have food to survive. Being newly cycled tank, I dought that there is a whole lot for them to eat.

i know.. well i dont wanna go off topic. but its like doesnt microsoft people know that there is mac product. and doest mac apple users know there is microsoft windows. its users preference what they choose. and its because both business have their advantage and so both are thriving... if microsoft wants to hide all product from apple mac to its users, then forget it.. its a bad business model. Microsoft should spend that time wisely to improve their product so users naturally choose them, not turn the world upside down to hide it haha.... just my idea guys... i will remove the link if thats what mods wants . lets get back to the subject.

its this package https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4 if my life gets any better after this and mods are happy :)
Hi there,
Let me put it this way. I keep 1-3 Turbo Snails (depends on the algea on the glass) and no more than 4 hermit crabs (about 1" big) on my 10's. Basically you will get a fill for how many your tank needs. I would start with about 3 snails and 3 hermit crabs and add as you see needed.
