Quick Question About Protein Skimmers.

I am in the process of setting up a 55 gallon with a 20 gallon refugium/sump and I have never had a protein skimmer b4 or a saltwater fish tank, but i have been researching about SW tanks for the last year. FYI I want to put the skimmer in the sump/refugium. I would just like to ask every1 out there, What are some good brands of protein skimmers you like and what size should I get for this tank setup?

a vertex in- 80, an octopus extreme 160, or octopus nw110 would all work for your setup.

make sure you have enough room for the skimmer. the foot print given for skimmers does not take into consideration the pump
