quick question: can eels get ich?

I had a blue ribbon eel get ich before. so I no that one can get it. never treated him for it, never had a chance to. He got out of the tank when i was at work and died. keep a good cover on that tank if you got one!!!

i think a ribbon eel is an exeption the the rule because of its difficulty to feed in captivity .mortality rate of this species is very high .most die of malnutrition(starvation) making this particular ell subseptable to any paresite and illness in captivity
