do feather dusters add a lot to your bioload?

almost none. They are like a clean up crew - I have never heard of anyone ever having a bioload problem with Feather dusters or cleanr crews. In fact feather dusters are filter feeders, they eat the phytopkanton from the water.
Go ahead a buy a bunch of 'em - they look great and are a wonderful addition to a healthyy tank.
