i am starting a 55 gallon tank soon hopefully
i was hoping the tank would b Fish and corals together
i might go wit the bio wheel i really like the way it looks
do u know wich one i need?
i went to the website marineland somthing and it had like 12 of them i dont no which to get
im new lol
also can someone explain wat a FoWLER is or somthing like that? slang on this board is hard for me
also i might get a power head
if i get a bio wheel, a power head, and a heater am i set to go?

Please do some research before you start, this way you'll be prepared for what's to come.
As you can see on the abbreviations page, FOWLR stands for Fish only with Live Rock...meaning no corals are added to the tank.
As a beginner, I would suggest leaving the corals out until you gain some more experience. Corals need very pristine water and light conditions to thrive. This may require you to buy more expensive lighting and filtration equipment. $$$$ and more experience to run this equipment.
Read up and ease yourself into this hobby, it's awesome but can be an awful lot to take in...you don't really want to just jump in. Learning as much as you can before you start will save you a lot of heartache, time and money. Good Luck!
