Quick question

Is a diamond goby considered a shimpgoby, and can I pair it up with a pistol shrimp?

The only experience I have with a diamond goby is that they are tremendous diggers, so I hope your reef is well seated. They have great little personalities though...

yes it is, the goby actually made himself a home under a preexisting cave in a rock of mine, he dosent actually dig down, but more of maintain the entrance to his cave

diamond gobies are not shrimp gobies, some peoples will share a burrow with a pistol shrimp, but it is unlikly and they wont form the bond that shrimpgobies would have. When a goby and a shrimp pair up, the shrimp has terrible eyesight, and the goby has good eyesight, so what happens it the shrimp will dig a burrow while the goby watched for predators and they both share the burrow
