Quick Question

I'm setting up a 10 gallon fuge and I was wondering if I have to cycle it??? I plan on putting in already cured live rock.

It seems to me that it would not be necessary since the fuge is practically an extension to the main tank. Therefore, since the same water and some of the same critters are passing through, bacteria would grow there anyway...
The already cured LR shouldn't cause a spike, and the bacteria on it with the stuff you already have should mean no new cycle...
But that's just my thinking. I would be wrong, someone please correct me if I am.

I would not cycle it, adding 10 gallons of new water won't cause a cycle, you don't cause a cycle by doing a water change do you?
It will get bacteria from the tank water since it all flows together.
A cup of sand from the main tank will help introduce critters and bacteria to your fuge.
