A good deal... Hmm hard to say... I have the same system. The lighting you will need to upgrade, it only comes with a 13 watt 50/50 bulb. I removed the "stock" fixture and retro fitted my hood with a 36 watt T5 ho 50/50 to get the 3 watts per gal. recommendation fro my corals. The pump that is on the system is rather weak where flow for corals is concerned so I added a Koralia power head #1 to my tank and man do I have flow now!! Filtration seems to work well, no real complaints there, just be sure to add enough LR to the system. My Bio wheel works well in combination with the LR. The lighting will only need upgraded if you plan on having corals in your tank.
Good luck with everything.

I'd say no. I started with the exact same system. I didn't like it after a while. You're better off going with an Aquapod or Biocube if you want a nano to start out with.

And the saltwater kit does come with the 36w 50/50 lighting. It still isn't all that great, though. I had coral in it for 6 months and after I upgraded the first time, my coral exploded in size within a month under much better PC lighting. It's all under MH in my latest (and likely final) tank upgrade.
My Eclipse is now a QT, and will likely be going offline for the first time in a year and a half this month.

wow Monk, you got a better deal than me then, my salt water kit came with the 13 watt 50/50. It was rather frustrating until I upgraded!. And the fake plants?? they went into my discus tank
I have no Idea why they put them in there!!

a fair deal but not a good deal IMO. you can get a biocube that size for the same or less sometimes and it is a better system
