my skimmer is so loud that i can no longer take it. i unplugged it the other day and im considering taking it out of the system. is there such thing as a quiet skimmer? if so what brand/model. tks.
Just The Constant Whirring And Pusling Sounds That It Makes. It Pulls Out Gunk Very Well Just Noisy. Its In My Sump Under Tank And Its Still To Loud. Im Considering Putting My Sump Downstairs. That Would Solve The Problem.
I put a muffler on the air intake to my skimmer and it helped out alot with the noise. Yours sounds like a combination of things so the muffler probably wouldn't do much. You could always dynamat the inside of your stand.
