soo many problems for so many years. Health , law and money. Sad really. I thought I read where he fell? Then I just heard someone on the radio say stroke?

Very sad he is my age 42... he's not suffering anymore, he has looked so frail in these last months. that poor guy was sick all his life not fair

He fell Wednesday and was taking off life-support this morning. No details about the fall.... Though I can't resist a "at least it was a short trip" joke...

Yeah he has had a tough life. Some sort of kidney problem that stunted his growth. Parents stealing his money as being a child star and so on. He has had several health related issues this year and this last thing did him in. He always seemed like a nice guy in interviews. RIP Gary.

Sad news. I always hoped and rooted for him to make it big again. He had a sad, hard life. Truly may he rest in peace.

wow, did I just hear this right?......he was divorced from his wife 2 years ago? Yet she made the decision to take him off life support? His parents had been trying to see him and his "wife" refused them. Whatever the problems were, his parents should have been granted visitation. It was proven that he was unfit to care for his own finances/life through the years. It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

didn't hear divorce court, heard divorced. Thats just it, he didn't have a bank account. he was bankrupt. When he was let out of jail a few months ago for health reasons, it was shown that he needed more healthcare than the jail could provide.
This could be a mess, but still his parent should have been allowed in. They tried to help him years ago and he sued them and he still lost the money he already had.

The stuff I read showed him as married. Dunno, even if they were divorced and living together which sounds like a tax and collections dodge to me, he could have signed something at the hospital giving her the right to make the decision. As far as the parents go he hasn't spoken with them in years so......
