I was wondering if the r/o unit went directly into the tank or if the unit hangs off the tank or do you had to do something else with it? ANy suggestions on good r/o units, i'm looking at the pinacle series? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Mine is under my sink in the other room. I run a 30ish foot tube very discreetly to an auto top-off unit that's installed in my tank. Whenever the tank needs water it feeds itself.
