I recently bought an R/O unit but it doesn't put out water fast enouogh to make it worth while. Are all R/O units this slow or did I just recieve a defective one? I really want to make proper water changes but am beginning to wonder if I should just use anti-chlorine chemicals.

I originally bought the pinnical 50gpd unit. I have exchanged it for a Pure-Flo II RO Unit (100 gpd 3-stage RO w/RO Pump). They say I can get more gallons per hour out of this unit. How do I go about storing this water and how long can it be stored? I wish they made a unit that flowed quickly and made water changes easier.

100gpd is actually a fairly fast/common output. The key is to have a storage facility for your water. If you are waiting until waterchange time before you begin to make water, I am sure it seems slow. I keep a 75 gallon tank filled with RODI for all my water changes/topoffs and the unit is rarely on.
I have seen water stored in many different containers. Depending on your needs, this could be a small or a large container. I've seen people use rubbermade trash cans. As for me, I happen to have a spare 75 gal tank in the back room I use. You shouldnt have to worry about the water going bad on ya.
