R/O units

Im new it this so sorry if this is a dumb question. Do you put RO units on your water system in your house or dothey hook up to your tank? Sorry for the dumb question

The only dumb questions are the ones not asked.
RO units are used on the supply water system so that you have purified water to make your salt mixes with. They do not go directly on the tanks.

they hook up to a water source in your house where the water passes through your unit and through filters that gets you RO or RO/DI water
