Raccoon

The LFS said that Raccoons should be kept in a tank with lots of Corals. SWF says not Reef Safe. What is th opinion here? I need to know.

Definitly not with corals. All butterflies eat corals of some form or desireable invertebrets. If you do get the Racoon and he won't eat the book i have says to buy a small one and put it in your tank. They "can't resist nibbling" it.

I had about six raccoons when I was eight or so as pets. Can't recall if they liked water, I was little, and they were mean!

Not sure about the garbage... they did like climbing into cabinets in the garage and knocking out of the tools though! They were friendly and playful when they were young... than just became meaner and meaner as they grew.
