Hey guys,
I'm setting up my 90 gallon mixed reef again and I was wanting to know what you guys know about a racoon picking at coral. I know they can but I was wonder what your experience was. Thanks as always. Ronnie

The raccoon is so much easier that the copper band. They grow to almost eight inches. In a reef though he will eat your corals. They are robust and will greedily attack even stinging anemones. It is suggested that if this fish will not eat, to place a small anemone in the tank for him to feed off of. This should tell you a lot. They are easily fed, but their natural diet is corals and inverts, along with the meaty foods that they will eat. This should tell you that as they age they will attack the corals more and more.
