Racoon Butterfly question.

i agree with sep. if you value your anemone, you should stay away from butterflyfishes, for the most part.

i've seen that work. i take care of a guys tank that had a huge carpet anemone. he added a pearscale butterfly that started picking at the anemone. he then added a tomato clown...problem solved. i wouldn't recommend this, however.

Ah, me either, unless the person has a large tank and was planning on getting a maroon anyway. Anemone is part of most butterflies' diet. They are recommended to get copperbands to start eating.

That's what I've heard, so I thought I'd check it out first.
I needed it to take care of my aptasias. Bought some peppermint shrimp first, but my flame hawk took care of them as soon as they hit the tank. What an expensive snack.
