i need to raise the KH does anyone recommend anything specific? i'm going to be ordering the nitrate sponge to help bring down my nitrates, and this is the only other level that needs adjusting(atleast of what i am testing).
also wondering if anyone would know why my phosphate reading is coming out crazy. it's a api test kit, and the color ranges from a light light green to a blue, and i am getting a yellowish color. wondering if anyone knows w/o me having to go buy a new test kit.

I use arm and hammer baking soda to raise KH. Just add a teaspoon to a cup of tank water let it dissolve then add it to your sump or tank. Wait a while test and repeat if needed

I have had the same test kit before, yellow is the lowest detected. Before altering your kh, what are your other parameters? Ph low? Calcium low?
