Raising Salinity

I have a 75 gallon tank. The salinity is currently 1.022 and I would like to raise it to 1.025. How much extra salt should I ass to raise it if I were to just do a small 5 gallon water change?

I would gradually raise it over time not all in one shot. Any reason for the wanting to go to 1.025 quick?

How much RO water do you add to top off the tank and move the salinity 0.001
A 50 gal that would be one gallon.
One gallon off saltwater has one half a cup of salt.
So if I add a extra half a cup of salt when I do a water change the salinity would rises by about 0.001
So if you do a half cup that will get you closer

Raise it slowly. No more than .001 per day, so your increase should take place over at least 3 days. Evaporation could also do the job for you. Skip the topoffs for a few days and you'll probably go up a point or two. Then a regular water change with a little extra make-up water should finish the job.
