it is too salty for me, I like it otherwise, but can't really eat it.
I just bought a bunch of it, with some canned veggies, chili, etc to give to our local food charity. Food banks are running really low.
Does ramen come in low sodium??

I actually like the oriental flavor best, but I was stripped of the opportunity to vote for it.
I prepare it like Monk's g/f and Mimzy, (boil & drain) but I go ahead and throw on the monosodium glutamate that comes with it.
(yummy goodness in a tinfoil packet) double

oh yeah, Jenny, MSG can be really bad....it is instant migraine for me.

Many companies and resturants have removed it from their food. A lot of people have different reactions.

They think Ramen gave him a heart attack
Surely you're kidding. This is not a funny subject I knew a kid in highschool that died of a heart attack. Just not funny stuff, but young people and heart attacks are not terribly uncommon. How in the world could they prove it was Ramen
...where is Crimzy this has to be a form of libel

he ate, really, ridiculous amounts of it. unheard of ridiculous amounts of it. nothing that normal people would consume. bkfst lunch and dinner he had ramen, and at LEAST 3 packages at a time. not to mention snacks of ramen in between. it was abnormal and sickening. his sodium was so unbelievably high, and he was so dehydrated, he just BOOM, had a minor heart attack. it was the ramen - but like, he was literally TRYING.

Well I think the moral of the story is...don't eat dump truck loads of anything...drinking too much water can kill you...I would not avoid the season packets provided by Ramen based on this individuals story. To each their own...good story made me laugh, and you may have just saved someones life

Just throwing this out there as it may not have been considered...perhaps he was experiencing withdrawal symptoms...I mean how long had it been since his last dose of season packet...could have been like DT shocks or something. This is a much more logical scenario........

There is some important detail missing...where is Robert Stack when you need him? This is beyond my expertise...which is lumber...but I assure you the season packets are perfectly safe...I think...
