.RAR files?

I am curious to know what program people use to open .rar files.I am still in the whole zip file era.I'm trying to get with the times and find a good (free)program.I mainly download music and video I seen a program called NewsToolz but I did'nt know if it would work with music and video.Well I look foward to all your comments.

try to use winrar. it will decompress the files for you. goto this site and dl the prog. I don't know if it is freeware or not. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

winRAR opens up .rar files. u can get it at the download site. its free. most files compressed in rar format dont usually play with windows media player. id recomend vlc media player to play whatever it is u download in rar files.

sounds like somebody may be using illegal serial #'s ..... IME alot of those are in rar format .... I know a couple of great sites for serials.

And those great sites are also nortorius for viruses that have yet to be identified.

Yeah, .rars are used for a ton more than illegal sn's.
