rare hammer?

i bout a hammer at the lfs for 50. it was normally 75. i lookied it my book and to my disbelief i say a pic of a hammer that looked like min. the books pic says it is "Euphyllia ancora"
is this it ?(mine)was i ripped off or is it "rare"

pic 2 is what it looked like a month after i got it...
now, you cant see any gaps in between each polyp.
It has gotten HUGE!

Not rare at all....very common at most LFS's I've ever been to. I keep one that has started to grow numerous new stalks and I'll probably frag it for trade with local hobbyists(or return them to my favorite LFS for store credit).
Mine was purchased as a rather small double stalked piece...maybe each head about the size of a golf ball....its now more than double its origional size and has 8-10 new stalks started. Very easy and low maintenance....If I remember correctly mine was about $30 origionally.

After i got my halides, i kept it on for 1 hour the first day, and anothe 30 minutes every other day. It took awhile to get to 7 hours as that is my maximum. They absolutely LOVE the halides. They have gotten sooo much bigger, and they are slowly starting to split, and they coloration is much more intense!
