rare or not?

ok whats the rare kind of zoas and the non rare kinds. thanks give pics descriptions anything to help.
I just want to know this so when i travel to my local fish store i kind of have an idea of whats a common zoa and whats a rare one.

I am not too familiar with all the different kind of Zoas, but i know there are a TON of em. Try going to to

vey generaly brown and dull geen are common and brighter colors are "rare" blue and pink are especialy nice

Look for vivid neon colors and dont always buy from a LFS. Look into a LRC and see what other people may trade or sell for cheap.

Just buy what you like. Thats what I do. Look at what everyone has and those are common. Look at ones that you see once in a while... must be uncommon. There is an endless line up of Zoas out there.

some of the more expensive types are colorful palythoas (people eaters)
i saw a 3 polyp frag of orange people eaters for $1050!!!!
some more are spiderman, x men, zoas zombie, eyes tubs blues and a lot of othe blue kinds

I think the ones that are considerd rare are multiple neon colors in one polyup, or multiple shades of the same color in one polyup. The higer priced ones tend to have a ring of color around the mouth as well as a different color around the outside. Whereas the not so expensive ones have a colored mouth and a brownish color everything else. Just mo from what I have seen.
