Hey Very Nice Tank.............it Looks Very Colorful......i Just Started To Set Up My Tank Not Too Long Ago...........and I Have A Question For You. I Was Watching The Video And Saw That Your Lights Were Hanging Not From The Ceiling But From A Light Stand?????????or Something
Well I Am Having Problems Getting A Good Light Because My Tank Its Only 30 Inches Long And They Make 24'' And 36''. So I Was Thinking Of Getting The 24'' But I Don Want To Hang It From The Ceiling. I Was Wondering Were You Got It From????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Thanks Dan

Hi Dan. Yes the lights are not attached to the roof, they are attached on a stand that came with the tank. Im located in australia and so really i cant help you.
I have attached pictures of my tank so any comments would be great. Good or bad.
I just added a spotted green mandarin today. Little critter is hiding at the moment though.
Thanks and i look forward to any feedback.
Kev.

Nice job Kev! Told you all would be well!
Having a bit of a time with my tank and really don't know whats going on. Just added some stuff I picked up and don't know if I got something bad with it. To many changes to fast. I just can't pin point the problem. Also got a new sump/fuge to install so hopefully get it back on line soon.

Hi
Not sure how many lbs of live rock, all the rock in there is live. At a guess i would say 70lbs but thats a complete guess.
The foxface seems happy enough. I certainly wouldnt have him in a smaller tank, and i bought him a friend, a longnose butterfly. Hes been there for a few days and already they are tankmates, following each other and a joy to watch.
The tank consists of
pair of percs
foxface
longnose butterfly (reefsafe by the way, it can be hit or miss)
mandarin
flame hawk
lawnmowerblenny
I feel i have reached my fishload although i would love a flame angel!!!!
Cleanup crew, 2 hermits, 8 snails, 1 coral banded shrimp
Corals: brains, flametorch, elegance coral, zoos and someother stuff
Thanks for all the nice comments. This is my first tank!!
Would anyone improvment suggestions. No offence will be taken.
Thanks, Kevin.

Some more pics of my first tank
Thinking of loosing the CC and replacing with live sand. Fed up vacuuming the crushed coral. Also thinking of changing the rock work to make a cave in the corner and an island so the fish can swim around. Space is limited.
Still after some thoughts and feedback.
Thanks for looking.
