Me, too. Thanks.
Hey, Mimz...how's your friend doing? The one that recently lost his parents.
i haven't heard hide nor hair from him since he left the hospital and claimed he was going to try to find himself some health insurance. i invited him here for Thanksgiving but he said he was going to spend it with his older sister and her family. if my brother can find him again, i'll let y'all know. thanks for thinking of him. ::sigh::

I'm glad his sis is at least staying in contact with him. So often families drift apart and miss out on the good stuff. All we can do is try to help. You can't force him to accept it. Sad. Reminds me of something my brother-in-law once told me...
"It's not fair to the people that love you to keep them from doing things for you."
Hope he is well, wherever he is.

Years ago during my first marriage my Ex ol lady's car was stolen. When I came back into the house and told her she laughed. When the cop got there and we told him we both laughed. Kinda POed the cop but it was such a POS car we couldn't believe someone would steal the thing. It had about 50 dollars worth of tools in a box, the stereo didn't work and a Beckman Digital multimeter that was worth more than the car was all that was in it. I jokingly predicted the meter would be laying on the front seat when the car was recovered because the theives couln't figure out how to make that little radio work.
Sure enough when the car was recovered the meter was left on the front floor, the stereo and tools were gone

One aims toward the front door and the other toward the driveway. It was a 4 camera system so the other two cameras will go on the west side of the house. One facing the gate to the back yard, the other facing the driveway.

SoCal, I have the same exact car... a White 2004 4Runner Sport Edition with the hood scoop and same wheels...
Mine's a V8 and 4x4? Is yours the same?

2005 4.7 V-8 2WD. I installed a K&N air filter, Dynomax muffler and 275/60/17 tires. I call it our racin' wagon. It will smoke the tires if you disable the ABS. It really surprises a lot of little Honda rice burners and even an occasional BMW or Porsche. It's due for a timing belt and I want to add headers at the same time.

You know, I totally agree. I was shocked at how much huevos that engine can put out.
P.S. Please tell me that's an apple logo on the back!!! Tell me you're a mac guy.

Not apple users any more. We got away from Macs in the mid 90s due to availability of software. We like them, but so much of our stuff is PC that it makes little sense to go back. And PCs are dirt cheap.
The sticker is from Bob White's Karate Studio. My daughter's dojo gets invited to an annual charity tournament. Bob is a legend in the martial arts world.
There is a pic of Bob with my daughter in this thread...

Here is a pic of Bob. The sticker on the rear window looks just like the patch on Bob's gi, between his fists.
