most razor blades have a oil coating on them to prevent rusting...
all i use is my maga float and a little plastic (acrylic) sraper, its almost like a little ice scraper for your car ...

Maybe I've just been really lucky, but I have the same kind of razor blades and I just wipe them really really good for like 5 minutes with paper towel before I use them, they work great, and I haven't had anything go aoul in my tank at all. ****fingers crossed**** that I didn't just jinx myself!

I just bought the Kent Pro Scraper 24" and a stainless steel blade for it. I love it - the handle is really strong, although the foam grip is not secure, it spins. But I can live with that, and I like the replaceable blade part. They wanted double the price at local stores so I got it with some other stuff online. About $17 plus shipping.

i got the same scraper. works awesome, plus the metal hasn't started rusting yet so double bonus.
