RBTA+Gold Stripe Maroon Pair+Small Snowflake Eel = ?

As the thread says, I just bought a 26 bow front and have it ready for action, I was going to add a maroon clown pair with an rbta then about a month later add an eel, is this a bad idea?

I wouldnt add an eel with clown fish. They would be easy....

I would not recommend adding an anemone for the first year, they require established systems.

Do not want you to throw your money away.

im an experienced aquarist im not asking if i should add the anemone...im asking if the eel will eat the clowns even if they are hosting the anemone.

imho i think you can do it. for about a year i had a pair of large maroons in with a sfe. the eel wasnt very big and the female maroon would have been very hard for it to get down. i target fed the eel regularly but he still went after all my cleanup crew and never touched one of the fish. i did have a fairly large sabea that the maroons lived in though. was in a 29 gallon.
