MY lfs has them right now and they r a great deal. Only problem is that i dont want to get one and have it move around and sting my coral. So should i get one or let it pass?

It will be fine. BTAs and RBTAs are one of, if not the, least stinging anemone. I expect it wouldn't sting your corals.

My BTA's have crawled across my xenia, frogspawn, leather, and star polyps without harm. Go for it.

james, iam thinking about getting a condy for now.Do i need lots of live rock for a sea anemone?I have 15pounds.And one rock has lots of caves/holes.And what lights should i get for the sea anemone to live,that WONT heat up my aquarium?

Anenomes need MH. Although i kept a condy under PC for 4 months. For a condy i would say atleast PC but u really need MH. THhey dont need to much lr, but it will go where it is comfortable. If ur getting it to host a clown think again. There is a slim chance it will host a clown.

ok i will get MH.They dont heat up my water?How much do the lights cost:nervous: ??Iam not getting a clown.Iam just getting a cheap anemone for now.Then when iam ready i will buy a BTA

MH is the best lighitng avialable today (IMO). Yes it will heat ur water up and isnt cheap. u could put 2-175w MH over ur 55. It would cost about $200 if u look around at used stuff on --. u will have to buy a canopy or get pendants, then add fans. If the fans dont cool the tank enough u will have to get a chiller. THe chiller will haev to sit outside which means u have to drill a hole in the wall. U will also need a pump for the chiller.
Over all cost..........about 1k.
Getting everything then still having the anenome die....priceless
