I have a domino damsels for quite awhile now and just decided to buy a clown fish this time. When I put the clown fish in the tank the domino damsel keep harrassing my new fish. My question is, how can I catch this domino damsels. I've been trying to catch it for hours and just can't seem to get a luck catching it. Is there a better method of capturing this fish. By the way, I only used the net to catch it. Please advice, thank you in advanced.

Go to "copper" by perculaman, and I describe a way of catching his blue damsel on one of the posts. This way has worked for catching all my damsels, and I believe it is more humane than the net way. Hope this helps!

I recently added two Clowns to my tank that had two Yelow Tail Damsels and a Domino Damsel. The Domino was always a bully but when I added the Clowns, they all settled down! Much more peaceful tank now.

I got a glass jar (mayo), put some ghost shrimp on the bottom, and didn't feed my fish all day. I caught my blue devil this way. The only thing about this is that you have to stay by your tank so you can grab the jar out of the water when the fish goes in there.
The fish will go in the jar, but won't stay for a long time, so you have to yank it out.
might sound crazy, but it worked for me.

I've caught one of two damsels in my tank by a method I found on this board. I have since given up on the second one. He seems to be to smart. Take a 16oz coke bottle(plastic) and cut off the cone, right above the label. Now invert the cone back into the bottle and use a couple pieces of duck tape to keep it in place. Now punch a hole through the edge (rim) and tie a string to it. Place some food in the bottle and sink it. The idea is the fish swim in and they have a hard time swimming out once you yank them out of the water. The fish will turn and swim forward, they have a hard time finding the edge of the cone to swim through ( on the way out). Good luck.
