RE: Problem fitting this page on your screen?

ummmmmm, I'm sure I'm the only one out here that's older than dirt. And that being the case, your suggestion seems reasonable. If on some off chance that there are other's of my generation interested in saltwater reefkeeping however, I can't help but wonder if you folks are going to pick up the tab for all our new glasses? 1024x1024 on my 21" monitor is virtually unreadable to these old eyes. But, as I said in an earlier post, this board is yours to run as you please, and please believe me, I truly appreciate having access to the wealth of information I've found here. I'm just going to have to live with scrolling for now though.
Thanks for hosting the board though :)

Melbourne - not sure what operating system you are running but I think if you turned on the large text feature it would help. Just a thought .... it is in your windows display properties under appearance and scheme .... not sure if it will help you enough or not. I too use reading glasses and use the extra large scheme myself (though I am still not old - in my mind anyhow)!

For Window XP users that doesn't work. The BB font stays small. You sure can read what's in the address bar though!

LOL slothy, so you're the one peeking in from down the block. I'm in high res but it's still too small, haven't tried adjusting font sizes yet, I'm 1) lazy and 2) too old to learn new tricks ROFL anyway, it's not that big a deal to scroll all over the place trying to read postings, at least it's not since I had my carpel tunnel operation :D don't worry about us old farts SWF.COM guys, we're tough, we can handle it!

If you have a 21" monitor set the resolution to 1280x960 [or thereabouts]. Then go to the View menu on your Internet brouser [Internet Explore], click on Text Size and then choose Extra Large. That should do it.
I too need my reading glasses, and I found this setting to work well. However, if you got a smaller monitor, and you have bad eyesight, you might have a problem.
