Re-Thinking My Fish List

So, with my Lemonpeel pretty much being a jerk, and trying to run the tank, I have isolated him. He is going to be re homed tomorrow.

I have two clowns, a foxface and a lyre tail anthias.

It's a 36b. Water params are good and stable. Temp is ideal and all hardware is good to go. Tank has been up and running for nine months. The only thing to upgrade is my light.

Can I get a recommendation on a replacement for this dwarf angel? I would like color and movement if possible. First and foremost it must be comparable with my community.

You are kind of pushing it for the tank size which might be the cause of the aggression in the first place. 5 swimmers in 36 gallons can't really set up a proper territory. I'd go with a small fish that occupies a different area of the tank like a watchman goby. It won't compete with the other fish for territory the same way a swimmer will. Instead it will stay near the bottom and and in the rocks.

Agreed. The fox will get big, mine maxed at 8" and its a one spot the smaller of the foxes.

I'm afraid that I'm going to lose my small clown. After I returned him to the tank and isolated the Angel, he seemed better. This morning he is back to laying on the sand. The bigger clown is staying close, hovering over him. If I get near him with the net he seems better and swims....

Yeah. I noticed that he neither one seemed to be voraciously eating the Cyclops so I tried to direct feed some minced fish and clam. He was very much perked up then. Not sure what's going on.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it! He is looking and acting better since the lemonbully has been isolated. Plus a change in food....

Well, after all of that, I killed my small clown. Doing a large water change, I used a hose that was too big. Somehow he got into the siphon. I dumped the bad water into the tub and left the container there while I started the refill. Found him dead in the tub a while later. Dangit

They are beautiful. Don't freak out if it hangs upside down in its cave. It is a weird thing they do.
