reach into tank help.

Here is my problem. I have several shrooms that are floating about my tank. I want to attach them somewhere. The problem is that i cannot reach them with my hand because of my tank setup; It is too far.
I also have a eel and a foxface that I want no part of, lol
I was thinking of long tongs but very hard to work with and no not want to injure anything.
Any Ideas? What do you use?

well, if you can reach in your tank and it's a reef tank I suggest you change the setup. It's not really convient. My reef tank I put my hands in my tank a lot to fix things. Also what kind of Eel do you have? I'm assuming this is a reef tank

Yes it is a reef tank. It is a snowfake eel about 14". I built the tank in a cabenet. There is now way I am rebuilding it, lol
The access's to the tank is about 10" above the water level. Then it is about a 30" from there?
