I am now fed up with kalk additions, and am in the market for a good Calcium Reactor. I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can give on the subject. I am not clueless as to how they work or what I need to get. Just curios about sucess stories, failures, not worth the moneys, recomendations, or best thing since sliced bread!!! Thank you all in advance for your time and information!!! :)

I really like my korallin 1500(dinosaur). A little undersized for my 180 but gets the job done.
I cant comment on others as I have used this one for close to three years now. There a less expensive models like the geo reactor.
Sliced bread..yea for the lazy guy....
If you are tired of dosing..testing...dosing...
then a reactor may be for you and worth the $300(minimum and probably more) investment.

Check out these two sites. Great reactor without the horrific prices.

I think you will be happy with either of these guys reactors. I recently added a secondary chamber from Geo's Reef(George Weber). Great quality. Also there is a DIY reactor page on Geo's Site with a parts list and instructions.

I just got a Marine Life Aquatics CR-250. Its only been running for a day and a half so its too soon to fully evaluate, but the setup and install was fairly painless and it had a nice small footprint for my 100gal.
