gosh its interesting. jim jones was a brilliant, (though psychotic and evil) man. not praising it at all, but the way he and his lawyers manipulated the legal system is incredible.
definately worth checking out if anyone is interested.

jones was not unlike many in society, gov't, etc. The difference being that he took things to a lethal finallity.

Posts like this are the reason we need to study history.
This kind of thinking is what gets people killed on a grand scale. In Hitler's case, by the millions.
Underestimating the enemy is a dangerous thing to do.
Just because someone is evil, deranged or has a difference of opinion does not make them any less intelligent.

i agree, though i probably should have chosen a better word. i mean "brilliant" as in intellectually, which he was. i didnt mean it as any sort of praise of his character.
