i'm thinking of adding another fish on the collection.. the tank has been stable and seeing algae growth... here are the list of fishes that will added to the tank in this order...
1) blue spot jawfish (probably this week)
2) flame angel or rusty angel (in a month)
3) yellow tang (in 2 months)
for inverts:
1) 2 cleaner shrimps
2) fighting conch
3) more astrea snails (15)
4) emerald crabs (3)
and MORE live rocks (approx 10-15 lbs)
what do you guys think?

Those fish sound alright but the yellow tang should be in at least a 75 gallon but a lot of people have kept them in a 55. The angel should be added to the tank after 5-6 months after the tank beeing setup as they need a well established tank, other than that those fish will be ok to add.

yes, i know that there's have been a lot of talk regarding the yellow tang being in a 55 gal... i'm up for the challenge of giving this specimen a good home.. i think that i'm experience enough to try one... ;)
thanks for your reply..

it sounds like a good plan. like carrie said, just make sure your tank is "established" before adding the flame angel. they and the tang love to graze on lr/ls, and only a tank thats been set up for awhile can provide this.
awesome choice with the bluespot, but ive heard they are hard to keep. i have a yellow headed jawfish that i love. (of course you probably like them too judging by your screen name) good luck with the new fish!

I've got a Blue Spotted Jawfish in my 25 gallon in my office, and I love him. Although he really dosn't come out from underneath his rock at all. Is this a normal characteristic?

yes, that's normal... how long have you had him? once established, they are very playful.. they normally come out for feeding...
i'm happy to say that i got my blue dot jawfish today and he looked healthy... :D
