Alright I am ready to go to the next step. Corals. I have a 24 gal. with 65 watt 10k and actinic lighting. I was planning on starting with some soft corals. My question is on water testing, besides the basic tests PH, Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates what other water tests
should I perform to make this adventrure a success?

Also check the iodine to see if you need to dose (or to monitor your dosing)

dont dose anything if u do regular 10-20% water change weekly. w weekly water change, softies, zoas and shrooms will do fine. i never dose anything and i hv sps and clams. water change seems to be enough.

You should check all your parameters. I hook up a water softener, and all of a sudden I'm adding Calcium more often and probably magnisium is low.
Water changes with your salt mix might not always be enough, if your water is already lacking in these minerals and the salt mix, might not be enough to level them out.
