Real and Fake Perc differences.

I know my percs aren;t true percs but what are the differences then? Will one be smaller, live longer, more or less active, etc.

JW has it prett much rightwith the fin thing, one has 10 spines and the true has 11 I do belive..... as for size and stuff..... they are pretty much the same..... and the colors can be duller as well as bright, depending on the breeder and the care givin to them!!!!!

Thank you very much guys. My osci's are very pretty and I am very content with them. They are paired nicely and get along beautifully. They have the best personality too. Very friendly and accepting of humans. They stare at people more than people look at them. They come right up to the front of the tank when they are being viewed and also always put on a great show with their little antics.

Here's False Percula

True Percula are usually smaller while False get little bigger. True is not as hardy as the False Percula. False is what you usually see in LFS which often sold as True. For newbie, False Percula is the way to go.
Obviously, True Percula more expansive because not many breeder breed it as much as False which is more popular.
