I have my 55 gal. now going good and everything seems to be getting along fine.. the water is good and i am getting the pump for my fuge next week... then, it's complete, i can sit back and enjoy my (and my girlfriends) hard work......
One question....i have a dark maroon looking slime building up on two of my rocks... the tank is about a month old and i have really good circulation.... none of my fish eat it and i can't say that it is "red slime" cause it's a dark red... it has not got on to any of my walls of the tank nor anywhere else.... when i first bought the lr in that area of the rock there was a patch of brown like fluffy kelp or something, now it's dark red slime... any ideas???????
