Really want a puffer?

So, I'm wondering if maybe I can get a puffer? Will he eat my hermits? I've got a sally lightfoot that has managed to survive my two triggers, but I would really like to get a puffer? Tell me this is possible!!!

I had a green spotted puffer and a undulated trigger, my emerald crab is still here today.....I think it varies on a fish by fish basis and how much of a risk youd like to take.
Also my two clown fish took the biggest beating. Knipped fins etc.

Well, I'd really like to get one...still deciding. Not sure, I don't want it to eat anyone....but I guess that's one of the risks you take with this hobby.

I had a valentini puffer and it left my hermits alone, but it was only 2in long, and it did feast on all the little snails that were in my tank, i got rid of him though because i wanted peppermint shrimp because i have aiptasia.

I used to have a couple cleaner shrimp and a peppermint shrimp, but they slowly seemed to disappear...can't imagine one of my triggers had anything to do with it. And now that I think about it...I don't think I really have but just a couple snails left in that tank...hmmm...my lawnmower blenny keeps things pretty clean though. So, I think I'm gonna head to the LFS tomorrow and check out some puffers!

Oh, by the way...my peppermint shrimp didn't touch my aptasia! I got some aptasia x and it worked great!

I got peppermint shrimp and one of the two ate them, i think my arrow crab killed them.
I just tried Aptaisia X a week ago and all of the aptaisia i tried to kill are back

Did you soak them real good with it? You've got to sneak up on them slowly and just fill their mouth with as much as you can get in there. Worked awesome for me! I'd pimp it to everyone I know that's got trouble with aptasia!

COver your tank, they will jump. The way they sleep, when spooked, they freak out, and escape to the top, and jump. Lost two to carpet surfing. Awesome fish, but they just love to die. Will never have one again.

I would not close the top. Make a mesh cover from a chicken fence. Home Depot has it, just make sure its not copper, and its covered with plastic. I hate glass over the tank.
