Man the War Coral is doing great and the other favia I had in the tank did great. Under the Metal Halides they were looking like crap and I had them low in the tank. Stuck them in here to save them and it was a good idea.
The war coral is my fav!

I had an amazing favia in my tank a long long time ago.....it was doing fantastic.....until I got the MH.....then it went down hill FAST. I gave it to a friend of mine who just started the same tank and had stock lighting and it made a full recovery and it is actually growing to the point of spreading over his live rock now.....so my conclusion is no MH for favia unless you have them in a shady corner or something.

Woah... errrr ummmm ok, well keep the GF happy for sure. But compromise is good too, half shrooms half zoa's... LOL. How about some blue stripped shrooms they are awesome too.
I have a couple, the majority of my shrooms except for my rics got decimated when I went to MH lights.

Thanks for the advice on the Favia. I appreciate it. And what what a wonderful looking shroom . I got like a Spiderman or superman shroom whatever they call em as a freebie awhile back but i cant really find it. Lol. its found a cave or something in my aquapod. but its my prettiest shroom i have. Blue with Red dots all over it. We need more pics rebelprettyboy

Yeah she wants some shrooms like that, but I just wanna get some yumas and rics to place on the sand bed!

wow so pretty. how often do u feed ur corals? do u feed by hand?
i also had a question about the biocube. mine is running at 81 degrees with no lights on. my heater is set to 78. is the pump generating all that heat? just wanted to see if its the same for you.

I feed the corals 2-3 times a week. Twice by hand. and one day Ill just throw some food in there.
My tank actually stays cold. Since I never have had my heater on. During day its about 78 and night 75... Havent had a problem with it yet. BUt I was just saying I need to turn my heater on lol. But mine is also right across the room from my in window air conditioner I put in my room just to keep the tanks kool

Great looking pics, Cant see whats in the night shots but nice look with em. I should do some of those. probably will look the same. hehe. Well i just took new pics too. time to post. Oh and that war coral is awesome. Do they need MHs ? iT Looks very cool. Might need to get me one of those. Got anything new lately ?

nmah notihng new, but Im sellinng the plate. about to bag it up in a min and send it.. I took some pics opf my blastos. I have to new babies. Now I have 6 heads! ill post them later
And the War coral doesnt need MHs they need low light. Thats why I took it out of my 30 with MHs it was bleaching

your tank looks very nice, I like the mushrooms as well.
