very nice. the ex-director of the aquarium, dr bruce carlson, is a prevalent mind in marine aquarium ecosystems, and is a contributor to the modern coral reef aquarium book series by fossa and nilsen. thats cool that you got to see all of his hard work in action in their tanks. i too hope to one day visit this place, and the reefs around hawaii as well

I went there by myself a couple months ago when I was there (the family was not interested in aquariums). There is a really cool outdoor display that has a surge of water every couple of minutes. Lots of tangs etc. Good stuff. Of course you can just jump and the ocean and see that, but I was impressed by the aquariums...

Cool pics, they have some pretty cool corals, and that dragon moray is awesome Wish the aquarium down here would set up a reef tank
