If you are suggesting that a 24 gallon tank can have enough filtration to accomodate more than quadruple the recomended bioload then more power to her. I was under the assumption that she didn't have a 100 gallon sump.
In all seriousness though, people join these message boards to learn and hopefully apply optimum conditions for their pets. Giving advice such as "people do it all the time" when refering to overloading your bioload is not sound advice. People do it all the time is something I would expect to hear from the LFS guy, not somebody who has been gathering information from experienced reef-keepers for months, as you have been.
No offence intended, so don't fly off the band wagon as a lot of people do when I make these sort of comments. You hafta admit "people do it all the time" is an irresponsible piece of advice.
I could put 45 inches of fish in my tank and then ask what more can I add if this were on a bigger scale!!
