Recomended feeding?

Well I still haven't gotten my red slime algea to stop advancing in my tank, even after I added a Maxi Jet 400 4 days ago. I have family coming up next weekend and I would like to show off my tank with out this stuff on my sand. I usualy feed twice a day, which include a few pellets until my clown stops eating, then frozen mysis to my twinspot,Cleaner shrimp,Emerald crab, and other assorted hermits. And my one colony of orange zoo's I added saturday. My question is if I go down to feeding once in the afternoon or morning, would this be efficient for my critters? Oh also my tank is a 14g biocube.

Also to add, I always net out any floating food in the tank after about 5 minutes to get rid of any extra food in the tank.

I would only feed once a day unless you are trying to do some heavy duty water changes all the time... But if you really want to get a quick fix right now you can buy some stuff call red slime it is a yellow powder it will make all the red algae be gone in a day or 2 but you have 2 do a water change after you use it

Thanks, I do a 1 gallon water change every monday, but I'll cut down to one feeding and see if that helps.

I would do a large water change and go down to the lfs and get some snails, cut down on feeding and you could also cut down an hour or two on lights for a few days. and when you do the water change try to syphon some of that algea out.
