Recommend a light

Getting a new 180 gal tank (72 x 24 x 25) for an awesome reef. Would like 7 - 10 w per gal. If you could buy any light for that tank, what would you recommend? Thanks.

I don't want to get into an argument, but WPG is not a way to measure light...that aside a fixture with 3-250w mh, and a few pc's or vho's will allow you to pretty much have anything you want.

I am using t5 on my new 180. I would recommend the aquactinics constellation fixture. TEK is also good, as is the nova extreme pro.

Thanks, that helps. I also probably should say that I won't have a canopy, so that might limit me too. I was looking at a C.A. metal halide 3x400w 15K, 4x96w PC, plus moonlights. I found one for $800. Thoughts?

With 3x 400, the only thing you'll be lighting up is your electric bill. I experimented with 400w over my 180 before settling on 250s.
1200w is too much IMO.
