recommending a return pump?

I have asked some similar questions on the past but would like to get as clear a picture as I can, I have:
120 gallon DT with 40 gallon sump
3 inch overflow drain in a stockman standpipe
5 feet of head loss plus two elbows on a one inch PVC return
What would be a good return pump for this configuration?
Also I have considered splitting my return pump into two one inch PVC returns with a "tee" and four elbows total between the two return pipes as to use it as a water mover in the DT.
I HAVE a MAG24 but I want your opinions if it's too much power or if you think another pump is can better suit my needs.
Thanks!

My question would be are you looking for a submersible or external pump?

submersible would be the preference just due to the potential of an external leaking, if it does it will leak into the sump and nothing will get damaged.

any help is appreciated asI think approximately 1600 gph (2400 subtract head loss and elbows) is a bit too much going through my sump.
